RN Desk: The media’s contribution to the progress of the animal protein sector is undeniable. To strengthen relationships with journalists and stakeholders in this sector, Sigma Bangladesh organizes a special Iftar and dinner every year. Continuing this tradition, an informal discussion, Iftar, and dinner were held on March 22, 2025, at AMBROSIA INFINITY LOUNGE Restaurant in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi.

The event was attended by Mohammad Anwar Hossain, CEO of Sigma Bangladesh, along with journalists from the animal protein sector and other notable individuals. During the event, discussions were held on the current situation, challenges, and future potential of the animal protein sector. Experts exchanged views on critical topics such as investment, technology use, and market expansion.

Additionally, Sigma Bangladesh has been successfully marketing world-renowned companies’ feed additives in the animal protein sector in Bangladesh for a long time.

The Iftar event was attended by key figures such as Dr. Morshed, Country Manager of Kemin Bangladesh, Dr. Rajesh Sikder, Sales Manager of Kemin Aquasolutions Bangladesh, Agriculturist Fayezur Rahman, Managing Director of Evans Asia Ltd, and Md. Riazul Islam, DGM of Sigma Bangladesh, among many others. Everyone present prayed for the welfare of the country’s livestock sector.

This event served as an important platform to recognize the development of the animal protein sector and the media’s contribution.
