RN Desk: Southeast Bank PLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd on Sunday at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.
This partnership aims to facilitate tailored banking services to the hospital, including Payroll Banking Service, Corporate Payment Module, Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminal Deployment, and Secure Payment Gateway Service, according to a press release.
The partnership will streamline financial operations at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd by facilitating efficient salary disbursements, automating corporate payments, and enhancing patient payment experiences through secure and versatile POS terminals and payment gateway solutions.
Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, managing director of Southeast Bank PLC, and MA Kabir, managing director of Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under this agreement, executives and staff of Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd will receive their salaries and other banking services through SEBPLC.
Additionally, cardholders will enjoy access to a wide range of services, including cash withdrawals from ATMs, Point of Sale (POS) transactions, e-commerce payments, fund transfer facilities, etc.
Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Ltd will also be able to make vendor payments and any kind of fund transfer through the Corporate Payment Module System.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, deputy managing director of Southeast Bank PLC and other high officials of both organizations.
