RN Desk: Md. Monirul Islam Pradhan, a well-known professional in Bangladesh\u2019s veterinary and poultry industry, has recently joined Arham Agrovets<\/span> as Sales Manager. With more than fifteen years of experience in the agrovets and animal health sector, he officially assumed his new role on February 1, 2026. He has been entrusted with the important responsibility of organizing and strengthening the company\u2019s sales and marketing operations nationwide.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his new position, Md. Monirul Islam expressed his deep satisfaction and pride in becoming part of Arham Agrovets. According to him, when choosing to work with an organization, not only the position but also the company\u2019s vision, product quality, and future potential matter most. The availability of European and American origin medicines, sourcing of high-quality products from different countries, and a strong management structure particularly attracted him to Arham Agrovets. He believes this opportunity will further solidify his professional growth.<\/p>\n

He also expressed gratitude to those who played a role in his appointment, especially Dr. M. Nazrul Islam, Managing Director of Arham Agrovets, and Md. Shahjahan, Head of Business. He mentioned that their trust and support have inspired him to confidently move forward in this new journey.<\/p>\n

Md. Monirul Islam began his professional career on August 31, 2009, when he joined Square Pharmaceuticals Limited<\/span> (Agrovet Division) as a Sales Promotion Officer. From the very beginning, he demonstrated dedication and responsibility. While working in the Rangpur and Rajshahi regions, he gained practical field-level experience by closely collaborating with farmers, dealers, and veterinary doctors. Later, during his tenure in Dhaka\u2019s institute business operations, his professional skills became more refined. Over nearly 12 years and 8 months at Square Pharmaceuticals, he earned several promotions and ultimately served as Field Manager, leading institute sales operations. During this time, he received multiple awards for outstanding performance and played a key role in training young professionals.<\/p>\n

In May 2022, he joined Elanco Bangladesh Limited<\/span> as Regional Sales Manager. He efficiently managed operations across Dhaka, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions. Working in a multinational environment further sharpened his leadership abilities. He demonstrated strong success in team management, target achievement, and strategic planning. After the company ceased its operations, he worked briefly at Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited<\/span> (Animal Health Division) and later served in a sales management role at Adarsha Agrovets Limited<\/span>. He believes that each professional experience enriched his career portfolio.<\/p>\n

Academically, he has maintained a consistent and focused record. Born in a farming family in Gobindaganj Upazila of Gaibandha district, he grew up in a rural environment that inspired his passion for animals and agriculture. He completed his BSc in Botany and Zoology from Gobindaganj Degree College and later earned an MBA in Marketing from Darul Ihsan University<\/span>. The combination of academic knowledge and practical experience has shaped him into a well-rounded sales professional.<\/p>\n

Regarding his future plans, he told Feed News BD that he aims to contribute to ensuring national food security by working in the veterinary and livestock sector. Alongside reaching the highest levels in his career, he hopes to use his experience and skills to benefit his organization, colleagues, and farmers. He also encouraged new graduates to pursue careers in agriculture and livestock, emphasizing that this sector plays a crucial role in building a hunger-free and poverty-free Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

With over 16 years and 5 months of professional experience, achievements, and strong ethical values, Md. Monirul Islam has now begun a new chapter at Arham Agrovets.
